TECHNOLOGY THAT IS HEARD...BUT NOT SEEN

Technology that is Heard...But Not Seen !

For many years, as hearing aids were made smaller there was always some trade-off in sound quality and hearing correction. The new digital sound processing technology allows for a much smaller computer processing chip. This miniaturization makes it possible for new tiny hearing aids, called completely-in-the-canal (or CIC), to be almost invisible in most ears.

The fully digital CIC hearing aids are normally best suited for mild to moderate hearing losses and patients with reasonably good manual dexterity.

In addition to the tiny digital CIC, Audionics fits a variety of computerized hearing aids that can fit most hearing losses, varying budgets, and special needs. They include non-digital CICs, and in-the-canal, in-the-ear and behind-the-ear models, all with fully automatic volume adjustments and computerized programming for your individual hearing problem.

After your hearing evaluation, your audiologist will be able to advise you about the hearing systems which are best suited to your needs.
